Trip to Colorado

This past weekend we went on a family trip to Denver, Colorado. Grant's parents are out there for medical treatment. They've been there since January, so they've seen a lot and are great tour guides! They hadn't seen Vera since she was 2 weeks old, so she has grown a lot! They both commented on how heavy she was (compared to her mere 8 lbs when they held her last).

They are staying in an apartment for transplant (g's dad had a stem cell transplant) patients. It is downtown, so in a great location. We stayed at a nearby hotel. Vera slept in the cutest orphanage looking crib provided by the hotel. We flew, so taking a pack-n-play wasn't really an option. We did okay traveling and sleeping. Vera got upset both times we were waiting to take off, but she was fine during the flight. She napped well there, too. We got to hang out, play scrabble, enjoy some good meals, and drive up into the mountains a little stopping at Red Rocks and Evergreen, CO.

Greg and Linda (g's parents) are hoping to go home SOON. We're hoping that happens... could be in the next two weeks!
