Christmas, part 1

As Grant alluded, we went to Dallas for Christmas! We were lucky enough to have Grant's mom stay with us from Vera's birthday party until Christmas day. She helped A LOT! Buzz is a busy kid, and she was able to keep us sane. Vera was teething a couple days before Christmas, so we did not sleep well at all. Christmas morning, she was up about 6 AM with Grant.

We left mid-day on Christmas and flew to Dallas. Uncle Tim had decorated his house for us, and we were able to stay in his master bedroom. It was perfect, as he had a cot for Buzz, and we had a pack-n-play for Vera. Vera didn't sleep very good, but besides that we had a great time. We loved spending time with all of the family together. Enjoy the pictures below.

Thanks for the advice and support about Buzz. He's really calming down a lot, but still wants to play WITH us ALL THE TIME. He responds well to correction, so that's helpful. It is exhausting at times, but he's sleeping really well. We love him. Could you pray for him and his family? He's got two older siblings and a mom and dad. Could you pray for him to learn to write, read, and draw? Could you pray for him to trust Jesus? Pray that for his siblings, too. Pray for his siblings to have good support and make good choices.

We're celebrating Christmas with my family today, so more pictures to come!

Merry Christmas from Caroline, Grant, and Vera

You can't REALLY tell, but Buzz took this photo.

Vera enjoyed baths in Uncle Tim's sink.

Uncle Tim's tree. It was the most manly + beautiful
tree I'd ever seen. He decorated his house for Christmas just
for us!

  2. It's fun to know that Buzz took the photo because it explains the great laughs on your faces. I liked seeing all the pics. I like the one where Vera's in her red dress waving her arm. That girl is a ham for pictures. Love it and love you all!
