Thanksgiving 2010

We had a good Thanksgiving weekend here in Kansas City. Last Monday and Tuesday we were able to go to the Sprint Center and watch KSU play in the CBE Classic. They won on Monday against Gonzaga and then lost Tuesday versus Duke. It was a good time watching basketball, as we probably won't get to many KSU games this winter. We also got to see our brother-in-law and my sister, which was fun! :)

For Thanksgiving, we celebrated with my parents. My mom was great and cooked most of the meal. We had fun. Nobie drooled like a fool for a few hours while we were there. We think she could smell the turkey even after the meal was put away. We also went to see a movie - Fair Game - about CIA/war in Iraq. Interesting story... definitely political.

Friday-Sunday, Grant's family came to KC. They stayed on the Plaza, and we had a pretty good time hanging out, eating yummy meals, and doing some shopping. Blake's fiance, Brooke, took us "in-law" ladies wedding dress shopping and found her dress! That was pretty fun! Grant's mom wasn't feeling well most of the weekend, though, so hopefully she is feeling better!

We are now waiting for the arrival of our little girl. Taking it one day at a time, of course, since we don't mind if she waits until her due date or after, but still realizing it could happen any day! I am planning on a December baby, and that means tomorrow!

  1. You're looking good, Caroline. I'm planning to come to KC near Christmas time and I'm hoping to get to meet your little girl. Thinking of you lots and hoping the next part goes smoothly.
