2 months old!

Vera is now two months old!! YAY! We went to her doctor appointment last Friday, on her two month birthday. The doctor said she is doing great! She weighed 10.3lbs. (50%), was 22 inches (50%), and had great strength. The doctor warned us that she may roll over soon, so we've gotta watch where we leave her.

Life is going much better in our household. Nobie had another 2 week trip to my parent's house (thanks mom!) as the weather was just cooping us up as well as slowing me down. So, Vera and I hung out and survived three big snowstorms. The snow is finally melting! There is seriously still some by our curb. I will be so glad to not have to step in it to get in and out of the car.

Vera is doing great at hanging out in her swing or other sitting toys for longer periods of time. She still loves the baby bjorn and will fall asleep most of the time quickly after we put her in it. Her bedtime has started to be earlier, usually after an 8 PM feeding. (so around 9 PM.) She's still sleeping in our room, but we're thinking of moving her into her crib soon. Her sleep is getting better too... she sleeps for 5, 6, or last night, 7!, hours at a time. We have a rough time going back to bed, though, so sometimes she ends up in our bed for the remainder of the night (like 5AM-7 or 8).

We just returned from a great family trip to Manhattan on Valentine's Day! Grant and I watched KSU beat KU in basketball. Totally unexpected and first time we've seen it in person (doesn't happen often). Vera stayed at Bryan and Holly's with Aunt Brooke! It was so nice to have a babysitter! We then spent the night and spent Tuesday in Manhattan. We lounged around in the morning and went to Aggieville for lunch. Had So Long Saloon... and guess what?! Frank Martin and a few other coaches were eating there too! It was A.W.E.S.O.M.E. And then Grant got to go to his beloved Varneys. Found a couple t-shirts for himself! We then got him a coffee and headed home. It was a relaxing Monday and Tuesday vacation.
